PASTOR TERRY FLYNN AND FAMILY

I was up a little late this morning! I couldn't believe it I must have shut the alarm clock off. I was up at 8 am. Ouch! Of course that is 7 am Texas time so I don't feel so bad. I had my quiet time, ate my grapefruit and toast, walked 4 miles on the treadmill, showered, and dressed. I completed two chapters for two of my new books. I finished a chapter for a new book on FRIENDSHIP. I also finished a chapter for JUST A THOUGHT VI. Please visit www.solvechurchproblems.com and you will see our new books and also be able to take advantage of my sermons preached at the Longview Baptist Temple during my 29 years of pastoring there. God gave us over one million souls during that 29 year period. God allowed us to give 9.3 million dollars to missions. This is a great church and the services are exciting.

I had lunch with Pastor Charles Webb today and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him. He is doing an excellent job of pastoring Anderson Baptist Church of Anderson, Indiana. He gave me his car to drive to Pastor Terry Flynn's church in Frankfort, Indiana, for a 7 pm service tonight. I preached the sermon tonight at Frankfort Baptist Temple "The Path To Successful Personal Soul Winning." There was a great response to the sermon by the people. After the service I was able to have my picture taken with Pastor Flynn and his family. In the picture you have Malaya age 7, Lanora age 4, Anella age 2, and baby Mckinley 5 months old. Pastor Flynn graduated in 2003 from TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE and his wife Lacey graduated in 2002 from TBC. Pastor and Mrs. Flynn have been pastoring in Frankfort for just under a year and are doing a wonderful job of soul winning. 132 have been led to Christ so far this year! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

By the way you never have to worry about staff or faculty at TBC putting a question mark on the KJB. The KJB is the King James Bible in case you don't know! Gotta love serving the Lord!

PASTOR CHARLES WEBB AND FAMILY

I had the honor of preaching for Pastor Charles Webb who pastors the Anderson Baptist Church of Anderson, Indiana today. He and his dear wife Wendy are graduates of TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE. This dear couple has been here for 5 years and their church has grown from 7 to almost 300 every week in attendance. I preached tonight on "Everything Rises Or Falls On Followship." The altars were full and the people were very responsive.

In the picture you have Pastor Webb, his wife Wendy, son charlie, daughter Madison, and 8 week old Cole. The baby is facing some real medical problems and will be taken to a specialist in the near future in Indianapolis. Please pray for Cole. This is a wonderful family and a great representative of not only TBC but especially our Lord. By the way you don't have to worry about putting a question mark on the KJB at TBC. GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!

Lila Ilyas and Dawn Myers

I flew from Longview, Texas, to Dallas, Texas and then on to Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Charles Webb met me at the airport and drove me to Anderson, Indiana. He is the pastor of the Anderson Baptist Church. He came to Anderson 5 years ago and is doing a marvelous job of organizing this dear church to win souls. He started with 7 and is running near 300 on Sundays. He is a graduate of TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE. The building was full this morning even though it was a Memorial weekend. The spirit is an excellent one. Several raised their hands saying yes they were trusting Jesus Christ to pay for all of their sins. I preached the sermon "Why Do I Still Have My Burdens?"

Last night when I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in Anderson I was greeted by Lila Ilyas at the front desk. She gave me the key to my room and I asked her if they had a treadmill and she said they did. Then I asked her if she would get on it for me and she laughed. I went up to my room and unpacked. I called the little wife and then dressed in my play clothes for the treadmill. I went back down stairs and asked Lila for the key to the treadmill and joked with a little bit. I walked my 4 miles and then returned the key to her and saw that she a little break from a busy evening, so I gave her one of our church Gospel tracts. I presented the Gospel to her and after going over the Scriptures she bowed her head and asked Christ to pay for all of her sins. AMEN!

This morning I was up at 6:30. I had my quiet time and went down for a light breakfast. I came back to my room and worked on some chapters for some new books. I then showered, dressed, and went down stairs to meet the pastor. The pastor and his son Charlie were in the lobby. I looked and Lila was behind the registration desk and I greeted her. Standing next to her was a lady by the name of Dawn Myers. Dawn works at the motel along with Lila. I introduced my self to Dawn and gave her a Gospel tract. Lila said to Dawn, "This is the man that saved me!" I laughed and she said, "Well technically Jesus did!" I then presented the Gospel to Dawn and in a few minutes she bowed her head and prayed for Christ to be her personal Saviour and to pay for all of her sins. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

PREACHING FOR TWO TBC GRADS

I was up at 4:30! Had my quiet time but no treadmill today. LAZY! Fixed breakfast for Mrs. Gray and ate a light breakfast myself. I worked on some new chapters for a new book of FRIENDSHIP. I believe this is going to be very helpful material. My book on HEAVEN is complete and being proofed! Also, the books on JESUS are still being added too and proofed. I always pack the night before and so this morning all I had to do was put it in the car. Assistant Pastor Bob Queen will pick me up at 6:30 to go to the Longview airport and from there to DFW.

I will be preaching for two of our TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE grads this weekend and Monday through Tuesday. Sunday I will be with Pastor Charles Webb who pastors the Anderson Baptist Church of Anderson, Indiana, while Monday through Tuesday I will be preaching for Pastor Terry Flynn who pastors the Frankfort Baptist Temple of Frankfort, Indiana. These two men of God are doing an excellent work for God. This is such a thrill to be able to almost weekly be with our TBC grads. I am extremely proud of them. God has given us over 400 plus grads who are serving around the world. If you are in the area please stop by for one of the meetings!

By the way on our www.solvechurchproblems.com we now have our new books available and sermons from the Longview Baptist Temple pulpit during my 29 years of pastoring. Please visit our web site when you find time! Hopefully, soon we will have some other tools to help with various areas of the ministry. We will help provide a paper trail that will be of invaluable help to a local church. I have for years taught the principle of NO FORM NO FILLING and I know that proper paperwork provides accountability and historicity that helps the leaders to make solid judgment calls for the ministry. Gotta love serving the Lord!

MRS. VI TRAMMELL & DAUGHTER DIANE SIMMONS

This morning I was up at 7, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, and walked 4 miles on the treadmill. I meet some of the pastors and families staying at the same motel in the breakfast area. We laughed and had a little fun.

I then showered, dressed, and went over my notes for the sermon "UNITY vs. UNION." God is not for UNION of local churches. He is however for UNITY within the frame work of a local church. One mind, one place, and one accord! UNION is a Catholic and Protestant teaching. When you hear or read of an independent Baptist preacher using the term "body of Christ" as a collective term for all Christians he is teaching Catholicism and Protestant doctrine. When they say "the church" as if it is some invisible mystical thing out there some where I would suggest you run from that preacher as fast as you can! That is Evangelical talk and not true to the Scriptures. We are not the "bride" of Christ yet! You have to be married to be considered a "bride."

After the morning service Pastor Richard Haley invited us to lunch and a question and answer session which is a usual event for Tuesday morning meetings. On my way into the restaurant I spotted two ladies sitting outside the entrance. I greeted them and then struck up a conversation. This was a mother and daughter. Mrs. Vi Trammel and her daughter Diane Simmons. We talked a little bit and then I gave them some church Gospel tracts. After explaining the Scriptures about how to know a person's sins are paid for the mother asked me if she had to remember all of her sins in order to be saved from going to Hell. I told her there is no way she could recall all of them. She agreed and I explained that when you receive Jesus Christ's blood for atonement of sin that He is easily prepared to take care of all past, present, and future sin. After a few more moments they both bowed their heads and prayed for Christ to become the payment for all of their sins.

We then went inside the restaurant and ate from the buffet and then I answered questions for about two hours. Hard to believe but there were some intelligent questions asked. Ha! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I believe the folks did too. We will be back tonight for the service at 7. If you are in the area please come on out to the Riverside Baptist Church of Hutchinson, Kansas, on 8th street. I believe you will love the spirit of this church! Gotta love serving the Lord!

PASTOR TODD PAINTER

I was up at 7, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, called the Mrs., and walked 4 miles on the treadmill. I worked on finalizing my new book on HEAVEN this morning. I meet with Pastor Richard Haley, Clay Dotson, and their boys for lunch today and we had a great time.

I went back to the room and worked on some new chapters for new books on JESUS! I talked to my daughter Karen this afternoon and she is finalizing the order from the printers my new books, SUFFERING?, SUFFERING FRUITFULLY, and THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION. I am also going to put together a work book for THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION. I believe that particular book is essential for young preachers and young converts!

Tonight Pastor Todd Painter who pastors in Lincoln, Nebraska, preached first and I closed out the service. The building was full and the spirit was great! Pastor Painter preached on the subject of THE STANDARD! He did a great job! He is one of over 400 plus graduates of TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE. His church in Lincoln had 59 folks saved last week and is doing a great job. The one thing about TBC grads is that they are personal soul winners. By the way you don't have to worry about someone putting a question mark on the KJB at TBC!

I preached tonight on "The Danger of Change!" There is a difference between the words "change" and "improvement." If you do nothing everything you have will deteriorate. Live fish go up stream while dead fish go down stream. It is a battle to keep from Changing!. Everything automatically deteriorates! We do not improve on the message or the methods, but we have to fight to gain ground. Truth is a position and change is a position. Truth has boundaries while change has no boundaries. Truth is finite while change is infinite. Once you start changing you never stop any where!

It is a scary thing when an independent Baptist preacher starts coming up with a bunch of new things in order to impress his congregation with how smart he is! Let's revisit the old and make it live! Look at Romans chapter one and see how the word "change" is used to describe the downfall of man morally. Gotta love the old time religion!

PAUL RHOADES

I am preaching for my friend Pastor Richard Haley who pastors the Riverside Baptist Church of Hutchinson, Kansas. We had a great service last night. There will be a service tonight at 7, Tuesday at 9:30 am, and Tuesday night at 7! Pastor Haley mentioned there are at least 13 pastors coming and bringing some of their people for the meeting.

This morning I was up at 7, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast and walked 4 miles on the treadmill provided by the Holiday Inn Express of Hutchinson. After finishing my time on the treadmill I met Paul Rhoades who works for the Holiday Inn Express. We struck up a conversation and I gave him a church Gospel tract. I explained what the Scriptures had to say about going to Heaven when a man dies. He mentioned that he was a Nazarene and I explained how that Jesus told a religious leader in John chapter 3 that even he, a religious leader, must be born again or he would not even get a glimpse of the Kingdom of God. In a few minutes Paul bowed his head and took me by the hand and prayed to receive Jesus Christ as the payment for all of his sins. AMEN! Gotta love soul winning!

CLAY DOTSON FAMILY

Today I preached at the Riverside Baptist Church of Hutchinson, Kansas. Pastor Richard Haley has been their pastor for 9 years and is doing a wonderful job. The buildings were packed out this morning and by the end of the day 17 salvation decisions and 5 baptized. This is a town of 40,000 and the church has purchased some prime property and will soon be going into a building program. I am excited for them.

I preached tonight on "The Path To Successful Personal Soul Winning." What a great spirit this church has. The people responded and hopefully the soul winning crowd will be up this coming Thursday night when they conduct their soul winning meeting. The pastor brought a young couple tonight and the wife trusted Christ and was baptized. This man of God is leading by example! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

One of the families in the church here was a member of Longview Baptist Temple for many years. They relocated to Wichita, Kansas, and drive some 30 miles to attend church here with Pastor Haley. What a blessing these folks have been to me since coming to town. This afternoon Clay brought some strawberries by the motel for me. In the picture you have Clay and his wife Tamara. Charity who is 16, Isaac who is 15, and Mariah who is 13. I cannot believe how much those kids have grown since I last saw them. They are all personal soul winners. GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!

Sheri DeBold

I am in Hutchinson, Kansas, preaching for my friend Pastor Richard Haley who pastors the Riverside Baptist Church. Pastor Haley has been the pastor here for 9 years and is doing a great job of winning souls to Christ. We had 14 saved in total with 2 baptisms this morning. The picture is a picture of the Sunday school at Riverside Baptist. I taught in Sunday school on "Forgiveness" and preached my sermon "Who Shall Be Damned?" We had several adults pray to trust Jesus Christ for payment of their sins. It was great!

I was up at 6 this morning, had my quiet time, ate my grapefruit, ate my toast, walked 4 miles on the treadmill, called the Mrs., and reviewed the Sunday school lesson and sermon for today. The pastor gave me a vehicle to drive while I am here and as I was leaving my room to drive to the church I met Sheri DeBold. She works at the Holiday Inn Express where I am staying. I had spoken to her the day before and so on my out I took a little time to speak to her. I gave her a church Gospel tract and told her who I was and why I was here. After a few moments of explaining the Scriptures she bowed her head and prayed to trust Christ for payment of her sins. Wow! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

PASTOR TIM HOLEMAN

I was up at 5 Saturday morning, had my quiet time, prepared breakfast for the Mrs., ate a light breakfast, showered, dressed, and put my luggage in the car. I then worked on new chapters for my new book on HEAVEN. I am really excited about this book! I believe I will be able to finish the last two chapters on this trip.

I flew from Longview, Texas, to DFW and then caught a flight to Wichita, Kansas. One of our former members Clay Dotson was going to meet me at the airport. When I arrived there was a pleasant surprise. Pastor Tim Holeman, whom I preached for four years ago in Maryland was with Clay at the airport. I did not know but a few months ago the Colonial Heights Baptist Church called him to be their pastor. Pastor Holeman is from my good friend Dr. Michael Haynes' church in Charleston, South Carolina. There are about 500,000 people in Wichita and I know that Pastor Holeman will do a tremendous job of leading his church in soul winning. Tim is a Hyles-Anderson graduate and is well prepared for the task before him. I am looking forward to fellowshipping with him the next few days. His church is about 30 miles from Hutchinson, Kansas, where I will be preaching for the next few days.

I am going to be with Pastor Richard Haley who pastors Riverside Baptist Church of Hutchinson, Kansas today through Tuesday. I have known Pastor Haley for many years. He has been the pastor here for nine years and is a great personal soul winner. God has given him a wonderful family and wonderful people!

I called several of my converts last night and it looks like 2 are coming for sure and 2 are questionable. God has allowed me to lead 27 to Christ so far this month. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

PREACHING IN KANSAS

I was up early this morning. I arose at 3:30 am and laid out potential chapters for my new books. I am especially excited about the ones on Heaven and Jesus. Before I knew it the time had flown by and at 7 Mrs. Gray asked if I could fix her some breakfast. I am such a good cook especially when it comes to cereal and toast! Ha! I then fixed myself a light breakfast before I went for an 8 mile walk. It is going to be a hot day in East Texas a high of 90 plus degrees the weather man reported.

I will be flying to Kansas tomorrow to preach for my good friend Pastor Richard Haley. He pastors the Riverside Baptist Church of Hutchinson. I will be with him on Sunday along with Monday and Tuesday. I am looking forward to being with him and his dear people.

This week has been a good week of soul winning. God has allowed me to see 5 who have trusted Christ so far with 25 for the month of May. I have 3 lined up for Sunday as of today. I will be checking on some others Saturday by phone. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

SOUL WINNING WITH DAVID DEAN

Each week Longview Baptist Temple conduct 9 soul winning meetings to give every member an opportunity to go soul winning. Last night was the 6 pm meeting in the Longview Christian Academy Commons Area. The room was full and my soul winning partner for the night was David Dean. He was chosen as the Student of the year for 2010 of the Temple Baptist Schools system. I am very proud of this young man. His mother is a single mom and one of the hardest worker mothers I have ever met.

David and I made some soul winning calls in an apartment complex and after knocking on several doors we noticed a young lady walking and we gave her a Gospel tract and asked if her mother was home and she said "Yes!" So, she took us to her door and she entered and soon her mother returned to the door. I introduced myself and David! I explained that we wanted to be very careful about approaching the children so we asked to meet her. Mrs. Stevenson was so kind to allow us to come in and take time to present the Gospel to her and her daughter Ashley. The mother was already saved but she gave us opportunity to give the Gospel to Ashley. In just a few minutes Ashley prayed and trusted Christ as payment for her sins. The mother was excited and very grateful that we came by! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

TERRY DAVIS

I preached this morning at the High Street Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Charles Mainous is the pastor and is doing a great job of leading them to win souls. I taught in Sunday school the lesson on "Motives vs. Works." I preached the sermon "Who Shall Be Damned?" God gave 56 souls and 3 baptisms this morning. WOW! Great crowd and great results!

After the baptisms and the final prayer I slipped out to go to the truck the pastor so graciously allowed me to drive while I am here. I noticed a cab sitting in the church parking lot. I walked up and introduced myself to the cab driver. His name is Terry Davis. I shook his hand and handed him one of our churches Gospel tracts and asked if he knew for sure that he was going to Heaven when he died? He replied,"No I don't!" While he was waiting to take his fare to her house he listened carefully to the Scriptures. In a few moments he took me by the hand and asked Christ to be the payment for all of his sins. He thanked me and said he would do his best to come to church tonight. I told him well at least you know where the church is located. He laughed! As he drove away he waved at me and hollered out , "Thanks preacher!" GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING

HIGH STREET BAPTIST CHURCH

This morning I was up at 6, Texas time amen, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, and went for 4 miles on the treadmill. I then prepared for Sunday school and the Sunday morning preaching service. Dr. Charles Mainous is the pastor of the High Street Baptist Street and is doing a great job the buildings were packed out this morning. The pastor had a BUCKEYE SUNDAY and invited Ohio State football starting tackle Bryant Browning and Ohio State basketball starting guard John Dievler gave their personal testimonies. By the end of the morning services God gave 56 total salvation decisions and 3 following the Lord in bapism! Gotta love serving the Lord!

Preaching in Columbus, Ohio

This morning I was up at 5 am, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, and let Peaches, the poodle, out. Mrs Gray said it was too early to eat, in fact she said it was too early to do anything and then pulled the covers back over her head! So much for my home cooking!

I always pack the night before and that way I'm ready to go the next morning. I put my luggage in the car and then worked on a new chapter for my book on HEAVEN. The title of the chapter is "The Rejoicing In Heaven." I downloaded the news on my computer and ipad and then put my briefcase in the car. Assistant Pastor Bob Queen was early this morning and we left promptly at 6:30 to go to the Longview airport.

I flew from Longview to DFW and caught flight 460 to Columbus, Ohio. I am preaching for Dr. Charles Mainous who pastors the High Street Baptist Church. I remember being with them last year and the great altar call with many trusting Christ. I am looking forward to tomorrow. Gotta love serving the Lord!

PREACHING AT HIGH STREET BAPTIST CHURCH

I was up at 6 this morning, had my quiet time, took my car to Lively Olds to have the oil changed, Ciro drove me back to the house, walked 4 miles, fixed breakfast for the little wife, ate a light breakfast, and began work on my new books.

By the way, Ciro is the young man I led to Christ several months ago when he drove me home from Lively Olds & Cadillac. He, his girlfriend, brother, and his girlfriend came to the Wednesday night Bible study last week. AMEN!

Karen, my daughter and employee (Ha), told me today that I now have 19 books published. The latest hard copies are SUFFERING?, SUFFERING FRUITFULLY, and THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION. Soon to be in print are new books on HEAVEN, JESUS (series), and THE PERSONAL SOUL WINNERS' MANUEL. Please go to www.solvechurchproblems.com and order some of the books. I believe they will be a blessing and a help to you!

I will be flying to Columbus, Ohio, Saturday to be with Pastor Charles Mainous who pastors the High Street Baptist Church. I was there a year ago and my oh my did we ever have a great Sunday. I still look at the pictures of the line of converts across the altar. It was a great day for the salvation of souls. Thank God for these local churches that care about the souls of men and women.

I went over my New Testament's list of names that God allowed me to give the Gospel too. So far for the month of May God gave me the honor of leading 19 precious souls to Christ. By the end of each week I make sure that I talk to enough people to average one soul a day to trust Christ. The Lord is so good! God gave me at least one convert a week to follow the Lord in baptism for 29 years straight. My string was broken when I came down with pneumonia several years ago. I was out for 8 weeks and the strange thing was I still had someone down the aisle for the first 3 weeks of my illness. This is what I have always taught in my "Loading the wagon" lecture. Gotta love soul winning!

Grandsons RG & Jordan

There are nine opportunities to go soul winning at the Longview Baptist Temple each week. One of the main times is Wednesday night at 6 pm. There is always a great crowd for soul winning each Wednesday.

Last night I had the honor of going with two of my grandsons R G and Jordan. R G was born with multiple birth defects and he is a walking miracle. The doctors thought he would never live let alone walk and talk. However, here he is and what a blessing he is. He thinks the whole world is abnormal and he is the only normal one alive. He may be right!

Tonight R G and I were able to lead 3 to Christ. Tony, his wife Daffney, and their little son prayed and trusted Christ to be the payment for all of their sins. It was great! In the mean while Jordan found a play ground at the apartment complex and began to talk to the children there about the Lord. After a while we joined up with him and I spotted him writing the names down of those who asked Christ to be their personal Saviour. We have a Sunday school bus route that comes through these apartments. Those names will be given to that Bus Captain. Hopefully we will be able to reach their parents this week end also! Gotta love soul winning!

2010 TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE COMMENCEMENT

I was up at 5:30 yesterday, had my quiet time, fixed breakfast for the little lady, ate a light breakfast, and then walked 4 miles. I was asked to give the charge as founder of TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE so I worked on a poem for the class of 2010.

I then worked on my new book on HEAVEN. Hopefully I should be finished with it in a few weeks and then starts the proofing process. I was given 3 hard copies of recently finished books that should go to press soon. The books are SUFFERING?, SUFFERING FRUITFULLY, and THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION. There is going to be a work book with THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION. This particular book will be an excellent book for a Bible College and for a New Converts Class in a local church. If you want to order any books go to www.solvechurchproblems.com!

Last night TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE held its' 27th Commencement Exercise. There are well over 400 graduates serving around the world. After the service there was a reception at the new TBC Administration building. It was a wonderful time of fellowship with former grads.

My son Dr. Bob Gray II is the Chancellor and did an excellent job as the Commencement speaker. This is his first year as Chancellor and the college has made remarkable progress under his leadership. He was voted in as Pastor and Chancellor March 1, 2009. The physical as well as spiritual growth of the college is wonderful. I am very proud of him! (I have pictures of the grand kids too. Would you like to see them? Ha) Gotta love serving the Lord!

Joey Montanez

I left the Hampton Inn in Durant, Oklahoma, about 10 am this morning. I drove to Dallas connected to 635 East and then exited onto Hwy 80 East toward Longview. I needed some gas so exited at the Belt Line Road exit. I stopped at the Chevron station to fill up my tank.

As I was pumping the gas a man, by the name of Chris, walked up and said they were having a promotional for CW1 polish which is used by the NASCAR drivers. He asked if he could demonstrate it by polishing a portion of my car. I said, "Sure!" He sprayed it on and then rubbed it off. I looked at it and said, "You missed a spot." He laughed and his buddy Joey who was standing by their outside table hollered out, "I'll do the whole car for twenty dollars!" We all laughed! I told them I was so lazy that I didn't even wax my own car.

I went in to get my receipt for the gas and as I walked out Chris was standing by their table alone and so I walked up and gave him one of our church Gospel tracts. He told me that he trusted Christ when he was 14 and recently had led his mother to Christ who was a Catholic. We rejoiced!

Joey had gone to demonstrate their product on another car while Chris and I were talking. I asked Chris if his partner was saved? He said, "I don't know I just met him a little while ago. This is our first day of working together."

When Joey returned I told him that I was talking to Chris about being born again. I gave him a church Gospel tract and asked him if he were to die today did he know for sure that he would go to Heaven? He said, "No, I'm too big of a sinner!" Will guess what happened after that? In a few minutes after presenting him the Gospel he bowed his head and took me by the hand and prayed to trust Christ to pay for all of his sins he had committed and yet to be committed. WOW! Gotta love soul winning!

Quanita Hudson

This morning I was up at 6:30, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast (toast, grapefruit, and coffee), and walked 4 miles on the treadmill.

On my way back to my room I ran into one of the dear ladies who work so hard to make the Hampton Inn one of the great places to stay. Her name is Quanita Hudson. She is a single mother who is rearing her grandchildren along with a couple of her own. My heart always goes out to those dear ladies who are left to rear alone their children. She told me how she had to show "tough love" for her 20 year old daughter. I hurt for her as she opened up! I gave her my book PARENTING SKILLS to read.

My mother worked all of her life to make sure that we had what we needed as children. My dear wife was one of the hardest working ladies I have ever met in my life. She labored to make sure our children had every opportunity to not only do right but turn out right!

I talked to Quanita for a few minutes about her life and when God gave me an opening I presented the Gospel to her. She was so respectful and receptive. Ladies like this are the salt of the earth and what make America a great nation! In a few minutes she bowed her head and prayed for Christ to become the payment for her past, present, and future sins. Somebody say amen! Gotta love soul winning!

Pastor Philip Winn

I was up at 6 this morning, had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, walked 4 miles on the treadmill, showered, dressed, reviewed the Sunday school lesson and the sermon for this morning. Pastor Philip Winn is the pastor of the Westside Baptist Church of Durant, Oklahoma. He is a faithful soul winner and I am glad to call him friend! His dear wife is having some tests done and they suspect cancer. Please remember to pray for Mrs. Winn.

I called Mrs. Gray and checked on her and the poodle. The poodle's name is Peaches. I wanted to buy two of them and name them Peaches and Cream! Ha! Mother and poodle were just waking up when I called. Poor thing! She has it so rough!

I called my converts this morning and God gave me two for the water in two different churches. God gave me 6 souls going into tonight's service. Gotta love soul winning!

I preached tonight on "Motives vs. Works." I Corinthians 3:11-15 was the Scripture that I used. This is referring to the Judgment Seat of Christ. The sins of the redeemed were paid for at Calvary through the Son of God Jesus Christ. At the Judgment Seat of Christ there will be a judgment of the saved ones "work" according to these verses. It does say we will be judged by "why" we do but rather "what" we do. There will be non-rewarded works and rewarded works at this Judgment Seat of Christ. Just as at the Great White Throne Judgment the unsaved will have their sins judged and degrees of punishment in Hell the saved will have their works judged and there will be degrees of rewards.

There are two groups of things to be judged. Look at verse 12 and you will find these two groups. One is "gold, silver, and precious stones." The second group is "wood, hay, and stubble." The first group cannot be burned only purified via fire, but the second group can be burned. Wood, hay and stubble is that which we do for this world while gold, silver, and precious stones represents that which we do for Heaven or the eternal. Live for the eternal and not the temporal and you will enjoy the Judgment Seat of Christ. Gotta love serving the Lord!

R. G.'S 19TH BIRTHDAY REQUEST

I was up at 7 yesterday, had my quiet time, walked 8 miles, fixed breakfast for Mrs. Gray, ate a light breakfast, and finished packing my car. I drove to Durant, Oklahoma, yesterday, to preach for my good friend Pastor Phil Winn. He pastors the Westside Baptist Church.

I taught Sunday school this morning on "Forgiveness." I preached on "Why Do I Still Have My Burdens?" The altar was full and I believe it was of help. One dear 90 year old saint will bury her daughter this week and my heart went out to her! What a sweet lady! She reminded me of my dear 98 year old mother.

I called Mama just before Sunday school and told her that I loved her and wished her a happy Mother's Day. I asked Mama how she was feeling and she responded, "With my fingers!" She still has her wits about her! I laughed!

God gave me 12 souls last week and 6 so far this week. I am excited about tonight's service. I have two lined up for tonight. God gave me two baptisms in two different churches today and for that I am grateful! Gotta love soul winning!

Our grandson R. G. celebrated his 19th birthday on Friday. He had one request for his birthday and that was the family to play a softball game. They went to McWorter Park and had a great time. R. G. is such a blessing! He is our miracle grand child! Gotta love family!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR GRANDSON R. G. GRAY

This morning I was up at 7 am, had my quiet time, fixed breakfast for the little wife, walked 8 miles, showered and dressed. I worked on some chapters for my books. I will be driving to Durant, Oklahoma, to preach for Pastor Winn. I am looking forward to being with these dear people.

Today is our grandson R. G.'s 19 birthday! What a miracle child he is! On the day of his birth we opened our NATIONAL SOUL WINNING CLINIC with Dr. Jack Hyles the main speaker. On Tuesday night with out Dr. Hyles having knowledge of R. G.'s birth defects he announced the sermon, "Where Be All The Miracles?" He said in his introduction that he has never preached this sermon without finding out years later that a miracle occurred during the meeting. I believe R. G. is that miracle! He was not supposed to live let alone walk and talk. Yet here he is!

I had this picture taken with him last night at the Bible study. He sings in the LBT teen choir and does a great job. I watched him as he sat on the front row of church last night and took notes as best he could! He is a blessing! The truth is he thinks the whole world is abnormal and that he is the only normal person in the world! He probably is right! We love him! He always has a smile on his face, except when he has to go see a doctor and then he begins to act like his mother! Ha! Gotta love family!

Soul Winning With Granddaughter Meagan

I finally went to bed at 1 am after working on some new chapters for one of my new books. I was so tired when I went to bed. The Lord gave me 12 souls for Christ last week with 3 of those following the Lord in baptism. Wow! God is so good all the time! I slept in this morning and didn't wake up until 8 am. I dreamed that I won the world to Christ last night! Ha!

Our church wide soul winning night is on Wednesday nights at 6 pm. I was scheduled to go with one of my grandchildren tonight. Meagan works at NOAH'S ARK pre-school until 6 pm. So, I went directly to her work and picked her up for soul winning. We had a great night with 4 trusting Christ as their Saviour.

One was Andrew Carter. He is the man in the white shirt. He told me he was a Muslim and had been one for 20 years. He was very kind and congenial! We spend about ten minutes talking and I began to show him Scriptures about what the Bible says about eternal life and eternal death in conjunction with Jesus Christ the Son of God. He told me that Jesus was a good man and good teacher! I told him that Jesus must have been the biggest liar that has ever lived because He said that He was "the way, the truth, and the life." I asked him if he had any one in his religion that was resurrected from the dead. He said, "No!" Suffice it to say that after a few minutes more he bowed his head and asked Jesus Christ to be the payment for his sins.

We started to leave and I saw a man that I had talked too about the Lord many years before. I rolled down my window and said to him and his two friends, "Hey, I'm giving tickets to Heaven away tonight!" He laughed and said, "Hello Pastor Gray!" My granddaughter and I got out of the car and began conversing with them. He introduced me to his friends and after a few moments of getting to know each other a little bit I gave them Scriptures to explain how they too could know for sure that they would go to Heaven when they died. In just a few minutes Kim Thomas and Eric Wilson bowed their heads along with Travis and prayed to trust Christ as payment for their sins. SOMEBODY SAY AMEN! Gotta love soul winning!

Whose Car Does This Belong Too?

I was up at 7 this morning. I had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, read my USA TODAY paper, drove to the Hampton Inn, and walked 4 miles on the treadmill. I came back and worked on new chapters for my new book on Heaven. The rain finally stopped so I went to the local mall and measured out 4 miles and then walked it. I came back and showered, dressed, and went to lunch. Came back and worked on some more chapters and then went to the mall for another 4 miles. I am tired!

I am preaching at the Heritage Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. The pastor let me drive his wife's car. Reese is her name. What I did not know until tonight was that Reese had told her husband that while she was away hosting a tour to the Holy Land that he was not to let any one drive her car. Reese, I know that you will see this so I want you to know that I drove your car. You have a great car. Do you know that it will do 100 mph? I have some good news and some bad news for you! The good news is your air bags work!

I preached tonight on "Eternal Life." I explained that there is a difference between a "Quantity of life" and a "Quality of life." When the rich young man, the lawyer, and the ruler asked the same question about how to inherit eternal life of Jesus; Jesus answered their question about "Eternal Life" and and was not answering a question about "Everlasting Life." This was not a question about "Everlasting Life" but about "Eternal Life." If you are going to "live forever" how about living "for forever." "Everlasting Life" is a duration of life while "Eternal Life" is a quality of life.

If you are not careful you will draw from Jesus' answer a works salvation. These three may be three different men or they may all be the same man. I don't know? The Bible doesn't say? I do know that Jesus' answer was about a "quality of life" and not a "quantity of life." They saw how others who were saved and followed Jesus how they were living a "quality of life" that they envied. They had wealth, prestige, and power but they realized they did not have what the children of God possessed. JUST A THOUGHT!

Brandon Fowler and Rich Greenberg

Tonight I preached for my good friend Dr. Tracy Fowler at the Heritage Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio. What a great service! This morning I meet a man by the name of Rich Greenberg and Dr. Fowler told me a little bit of his story and tonight I spent some more time with Rich and he told me a little more. This is an amazing story.

Rich is a Jew! He was saved in 2001 but drifted away from the Lord. He became the number one disc jockey in Columbus, Ohio. He was known as "Hannibal." He worked for 99.7! The station was known as the BLITZ! Heavy metal rock! He was caught up in a life style of drugs, booze, and immorality.

At the same time Brandon, Dr. Fowler's son, had drifted away from God and was also entangled with a life style that "Hannibal" was pushing on his radio show. Brandon's favorite DJ was "Hannibal."

Brandon and his dear wife Tasha came back to the Lord two years ago and have been on fire for God ever since. Last October Rich came to Heritage Baptist Church to visit. God got a hold of his heart and he rededicated his life to the Lord and followed the Lord in baptism in November of 2009. He is now a member of Heritage. Brandon and Rich have become prayer and soul winning partners. AMAZING! Gotta love serving the Lord!

Katie Ratliff and Stacy Withers

I preached tonight at Heritage Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio, pastored by my good friend Dr. Tracy Fowler. I preached tonight on "Everything Rises Or Falls On Followship." The building was full and the altar was full. This is a great church! They have a great spirit and certainly the Holy Spirit has liberty in their services. We had 13 saved today with 4 baptisms. It was a great Lord's Day!

Stacy Withers is the music coordinator for Pastor Fowler. She is a 2003 TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE graduate. Stacy parents Mr. and Mrs. Withers are faithful members of LONGVIEW BAPTIST TEMPLE. She is a home grown girl and I am very proud of her. The young 12 year old lady next to Stacy is one of her piano students Katie Ratliff. Stacy is training the next generation in the importance of good godly music. The music today at the the Heritage Baptist Church was spirit filled and electrifying! Thank you Stacy for carrying on the great heritage at Heritage!

May I say it again! You do not have to worry about any one at TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE correcting or placing a question mark on the preserved inspiration of the King James Bible. Not only are we producing soul winning students but they are solid doctrinally! The Lord has given us over 400 graduates serving around the world! We are very proud of them! Gotta love serving the Lord!

AARON ELLIS

I was up at 5:30 Texas time! It sounds so much better saying it "Texas time." Ha! You know the whole world evolves around Texans! I had my quiet time, ate a light breakfast, drove to the Hampton Inn for my 4 miles on the treadmill, drove back to the Holiday Inn Express, showered, and dressed for Sunday school.

I called the little wife and then drove to Sunday school at the Heritage Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio. I taught out of the book of Galatians on the subject "The Lines Of Defense." I then preached this morning on "Why Do I Still Have My Burdens?" God gave us 8 souls and 4 baptisms. It was a great altar call and a great spirit filled service. The Holy Spirit certainly had liberty this morning.

I then drove back to Hamilton Road where the motel is located. On my way back I went through the drive thru at the McDonalds Restaurant and ordered some snack wraps. I love those grilled chicken snack wraps. Please don't tell my nutritionist! I just couldn't pass it up. I ordered and then pulled forward to pay for the meal. No one was behind me and the young man named Aaron Ellis took my credit card for payment. He then began to talk to me about how glad he was that he only had one more hour to go at work. I began to joke with him and soon I asked him if he was going to Heaven when he died? He said, "No, I don't know!" Within a few minutes he took me by the hand and prayed to receive Christ as payment for all of his sins. It was great! He thanked me! I explained how to get to the Heritage Baptist Church and told him I would only be here for two days. WOW! God is so good! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING! Try it you'll like it!

Honest Moyo

I arrived in Columbus, Ohio, to preach for my good friend Dr. Tracy Fowler who pastors the Heritage Baptist Church. He has been a faithful man of God for many years in this city. He is a personal soul winner and I am glad to call him friend.

He took me to the Holiday Inn Express off of Hamilton Road to check into my room. After I unpacked and answered some phone calls I went down to the exercise room to get on the treadmill. When I entered into the exercise room and started to get on the treadmill I found a sign that said, "OUT OF ORDER." I went to the young man at the desk and he apologized. I asked about if they have some type of an exchange program with a sister motel. Most places do work together with some sister motel. He said, "Yes, the Hampton Inn." He called and the clerk agreed to let me drive over and use their treadmill.

When I arrived I introduced myself to the clerk. You will not believe this but his first name is HONEST. His name is Honest Moyo and he is from Bucawayo, Zimbabwa. He has been in America for 8 years and moved here from Dallas, Texas. I couldn't help but laugh and I asked him if he was always honest. He laughed and said, "90 % of the time." He gave me a key to the exercise room and so I went to do my 4 miles. When I finished I went to the desk to thank him and he was busy with another customer. I waited until he was finished and then struck up a conversation. It was fascinating to listen to his story. After a while I gave him the Gospel and presented Scriptures to assure him that he could know for sure that when he dies that he would go to Heaven. He was listening intently. After a few minutes he took me by the hand and prayed to receive Jesus Christ as payment for all of his sins. I gave him some assurance verses and he said he would do his best to be at church Sunday night. WOW! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

Zachery Milton

I was up at 5 am this morning. I walked an extra 4 miles yesterday so that I could sleep in this morning and extra hour. I am retired or just tired? The crazy thing about this retirement thing is that I have only played golf three times since retirement. What is wrong with this picture.

I am preaching for Pastor Tracy Fowler. He has pastored for years the Heritage Baptist Church of Columbus, Ohio, and is doing a wonderful job of winning the lost to Christ. He and his dear wife Reese are great soul winners. When I arrived in Columbus and after talking with Evangelist Time Lee and his dear wife I had my picture taken with him.

Then I went to retrieve my bag when I noticed a sailor standing beside me. I greeted him and then struck up a conversation. I thanked him for his service to our country and asked him where he is going. He replied he was on leave for two weeks and was headed to West Virginia. After a little bit of conversation I gave him a Gospel tract from my church. I talked to him about going to Heaven and missing Hell through Jesus Christ. After a little bit he bowed his head and invited Christ into his heart. I gave him assurance verses and then turned to a man standing by the carousel and asked him to take our picture. The man said, "Yes!" After the picture I picked up my luggage and started to leave when the man who took the picture put his hand on my shoulder and said, "Thank you for caring about his soul and taking time to talk to him!" This man was a Christian and was grateful for soul winning! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

War Hero Tim Lee

I was up at 5 am, had my quiet time, fixed breakfast for the Mrs., fixed a light breakfast, and put my luggage in the car. I was lazy this morning! No treadmill! I had a few moments to work on new chapters for my new book on HEAVEN before leaving for the Longview Airport. Assistant Pastor Bob Queen was here right on time at 6:30 to take me to the airport.

I flew an American Eagle flight to DFW where I caught an American flight to Columbus, Ohio. I will be preaching at the Heritage Baptist Church for Pastor Tracy Fowler. Also, there will be a rally Monday night at 7 pm. If you are in the area and can attend I will be looking forward to seeing you there. He is doing a great job of winning the lost to Christ. Pastor Fowler and his dear wife Reese were in an automobile accident a few weeks ago and are still recovering. Please pray for them for a healthy recovery.

I was sitting in seat 6B on the flight to Columbus working on new chapters for my new books when the man sitting in seat 6E across the aisle through a piece of paper on top of my computer. It was a Gospel tract. He had written on the tract, "This will tell you how to go to Heaven Brother Bob!" Signed Tim Lee. I was pleased to be able to see Brother Lee and talk with him. He is a true America hero. In a day when we hold up pro athletes as being heros we have forgotten who the true heros are in America. Thank you Tim Lee for your love for this nation and for your personal sacrifice! Gotta love this nation!
