GREAT LORD'S DAY IN OKLAHOMA

Samantha and John

Tonight as I was leaving to go preach I spotted the clerk of the Holiday Inn Express talking to her boyfriend. I introduced myself and talked to them for a little bit. One of the ladies from the MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH who works preparing breakfast for the motel was there. Soon the dear lady left to go to the evening church service.

I stayed a little longer sharing Scriptures with them and in a few minutes Samantha and John bowed their heads and trusted Christ as their Saviour! After I wrote down their names on my prayer list they mentioned they were engaged and preparing to marry. I gave them Pastor O'Daniel's name and his phone number. They promised to call and attend church next Sunday and talk to him about marrying them.

When I arrived at church the lady who works at the motel was just arriving for the night service. I told her of the young couple and how they trusted Christ. This dear lady started weeping and said God told her to leave so I could talk to them. She said she had been praying and witnessing to Samantha. WOW! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

Too many fence straddlers in fundamentalism! We are being persuaded by suave personalities and not Scripture. The reason seems to be because so many are not even sure they have the very WORDS OF GOD! These are not just WORDS in our KING JAMES BIBLE. They are "living oracles." They preach! They teach! They convict!

If it was an issue of "double inspiration" then why was not that statement made in 2009 at Pastors' School. Not one time was that argument made! The attack was on the KING JAMES BIBLE not being inspired! There was never an issue of the KJB not being inspired until 2009!

I do not know of one who preached "double inspiration" outside of Dr. Ruckman possibly. It only took three years before the truth came out that Hammond espouses that only the originals are inspired and there are mistakes in the KJB! Once you start changing you never stop changing! I do not believe in "double inspiration" I believe in "preserved inspiration!"

Someone said, "Why can't we be like the New Testament Christians and get along with each other?" Are you kidding! Nobody ever called the Acts of the Apostles a dull book. Something is happening in it every minute. These early Christians  were on fire for God and they tackled the world, the flesh, and the devil in a head-on collision. As a result they soon found themselves in trouble!

By the time you reach the fifth chapter this trouble has assumed several forms. The chapter begins with trouble inside the local church. "But a certain man named Ananias with Sapphira his wife." Local churches have always been harmed most by trouble within, but at this time it was not so anemic as now and the poison was soon cleared up

Trouble looms again on the outside. Peter and the Apostles are again brought before the council of the religious authorities. True Christianity through the ages has always clashed with organized religion including organized fundamentalism.

Peter and the Apostles minced no words. There speech is classic. "We ought to obey God rather than men..." Trouble within, trouble without, and now enter another kind of trouble in disguise. The trouble of a fence straddler named Gamaliel!

There was a time when I was impressed with him. I thought he made a great speech. It sounded at first sober, sane, and sound. However, time has changed my opinion. The fact is Gamaliel was an appeaser, a compromiser, and a fence staddler!

He decided to be neither for nor against! He took to the fence and there he sits as the first of a line of straddlers who have perhaps caused churches more trouble than trouble within and trouble without! God would rather have a man on the wrong side of the fence than ON the fence! He made three mistakes!

1) He made a false comparison of Theudas and Judas to Jesus! (verses 35-36)

2) He suggested a false criteria by measuring the movement by the success of it!

3) He arrived at a false conclusion of saying to refrain from these men and let them alone!

You cannot leave them alone! You cannot play hands off with the cause of Jesus Christ or His inspired WORD! You cannot suspend judgment and do nothing! This polite business of waiting to see how it all turns out, adding up all of the evidence and making up your minds later when you think all the facts are in, will not work with God's WORD! This is a matter of faith not intellectualism! GOTTA LOVE THE INSPIRED KING JAMES BIBLE!

GREAT MORNING AT MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH IN OKLAHOMA

Sunday Morning

This morning it was an honor to teach and preach for Pastor Charley O'Daniel who pastors the MARANATHA BAPTIST CHURCH of Bethany, OK.  He has been their pastor for 30 years and been a faithful fundamentalist.  The people were very attentive and very responsive both to the preaching along with the altar call. We had 10 saved, 8 professions, and 5 baptized. It was wonderful to see the altars filled! This is an old fashioned independent Baptist church!
I will be preaching tonight at 6 pm.

Psalm 12:6-7, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

1) The Scripture says "are pure words" which is present tense.
2) The Scripture says "Thou shalt keep them, O LORD..."
3) The Scripture says "...O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

II Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

1) "is" not "was"
2) "for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction..." In order to be grammatically correct to go from "is" to "for" you cannot insert the word "was"in place of "is."
3) This is true for the English as well as the Greek

A dictionary would help some of you who are floundering and upset over the phrase "preserved inspiration."

1) "Preserved" according to the dictionary is...
             a) Maintain something in its original or existing state
             b) Maintain or keep alive
             c) Keep safe from harm
2) "Inspiration"
             a) The divine influence of the Holy Ghost that led to
penning of Holy Scriptures (II Peter 1:20-21)
             b) The divine influence of the Holy Ghost to cause
understanding of the Holy Scriptures (Job 32:8)

Put it together boys and girls and guess what? You have "preserved inspiration." The same inspiration found in Psalm 119:89 in Heaven, in Hebrew, in Aramaic, in Greek, in English, in Chinese, in German, etc., God promised to preserve that inspiration to "all tongues." By FAITH I trust God to do it! Do you?

Enoch was translated and he was the same in Heaven as he was on earth and the Scriptures that were settled in Heaven are translated into "all tongues" and God said He was responsible to see that it happened. AMEN! I trust God to do so! Paul warned us about those who would "corrupt" the Scriptures! (II Corinthians 2:17) This my friend is the issue before us in 2011! GOTTA LOVE THE KING JAMES BIBLE'S preserved inspiration! Keep those cards and letters coming!

PREACHING IN OKLAHOMA

                            Joses

I will be driving to Bethany, Oklahoma, to preach for Pastor Charley O'Daniel. He pastors the Maranatha Baptist Church. My son Scott preached for this dear brother and was excited about this church. This will be my first time to preach for this man of God and I am looking forward to being with him and his people. Thank God for these men of God!

I was up at 3 am on Wednesday preparing to fly home. I went down to the lobby to check out and I met a young man by the name of Joses. He works the midnight shift and was very tired. He told me he was going to go home and go to bed. I talked to him for a little bit and began to talk about there being a rest in Jesus that is far more restful than a bed. He listened and in a few minutes after going over a lot of Scripture he bowed his head and asked Christ to be the payment for all of his sins. WOW! I called him this morning and he is going to go to church and take some of his family with him. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

TUESDAY AT HILLSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH OF LOS ANGELES

Hilda Silva
This morning I taught a lesson on "HOW TO BE A BETTER SOUL WINNER!" Dr. Cox preached on "SPONTANEOUS SOUL WINING!" He once again did an excellent job of motivating God's people to be a personal soul winner all the time! It was a great truth.

Dr. Cox preached tonight his sermon "AN EMPTY CHAIR." It was very effective and used of God. I preached my sermon  "IS THERE A PLACE CALLED HELL?" The building once again was packed out with chairs having to be put out. The balcony was packed and at the invitation time the altars were full with many weeping for those whom they knew were lost without Christ. It was a great move of the Holy Spirit tonight.

After the service Dr. Ray Rameriz, pastor of HILLSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH, introduced me to one of his faithful ladies. The church went soul winning Tuesday afternoon. 667 folks on the streets of Los Angeles bowed their heads and trusted Christ to save their souls from going to a devil's Hell. One of the soul winners was this dear lady Mrs. Hilda Silva. This soul winner led 40 people to Christ today! WOW! GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING! There are 10 million plus people in Los Angeles and a great need for personal soul winners. Thank the LORD for this dear church!

By the way please keep those cards and letters coming! It is amazing to me how friendship can overshadow truth.  Loyalty to a man of God who is disloyal to the Word of God is in essence disloyalty to God. To believe the Scriptures in the English KING JAMES BIBLE is not preserved inspiration is an attack on the foundations of the faith!

Paul wasted no time comparing the Gospel or the Scriptures with current religions and attempting to convince his hearers from a scholarly stand point about the Scriptures or the Gospel. He declared it to be the only answer that had ever come along or ever would come along.  By faith Paul accepted the inspiration of the Scripture and the power of the Gospel without the originals!

The person who postpones taking a stand for the living Word Jesus Christ and the written Word, KING JAMES BIBLE, until they see if it succeeds will live and die with Gamaliel.  Visible success has never been the proof of Jesus and His followers. We have always been the scum and offscouring of the earth. We are called a "REMNANT." No one can play "hands off" with the cause of Jesus Christ or His written WORD! You cannot suspend judgment and do nothing. This polite business of waiting to see how it all turns out, adding up all the evidence and making up ones mind when all the supposed facts are in is non-sense!

The devil never had a greater ally than this modern atmosphere of genial, amiable, pleasant tolerance, in which nothing is bad, everything is good. According to Satan everything is not black and white but rather smeared into an indefinite color grey. Nothing matters as long as everybody is in a good mood! This modern 2011 brand of tolerance in fundamentalism has put our age into a spiritual stupor.

These new fundamental liberals do not believe as true fundamentalists do, but instead of leaving us and joining groups they do agree with, they infect and infest the great independent Baptist churches with the malignancy of unbelief questioning the inspiration of the KING JAMES BIBLE. Unfortunately, we have among true believers some who are so tolerant and broadminded as to believe we ought to include in our fellowship all grades and shades of doctrine. They would turn the Lord's sheepfold into a zoo. When we have room enough for any and every brand of doctrine, that my friend is too much room!

Can the same fountain send forth both bitter water and sweet? Can two walk together except they be agreed? One scholar says that the early Christians condemned false doctrine in a way that sounds almost unchristian today. I do not believe that the Gospel ship ought to be surrendered to mutineers! We were here first! If anybody leaves let it be the dissenters, the compromisers, the Neo's, and the pseudo's!

These false fundamentalists are bewitched and those who tolerate them are bewitched by a false tolerance they mistake for Christian charity. The New Testament has a lot to say about false teachers. It advocates measures that sound stern and harsh. The permissive Apostles of compromise have pulpits whose sound travels a lost faster than light!

We are living in a smog in fundamentalism! Black and white have become the color grey. Church leaders, such as pastors and deacons, are lost in the midst. Unless God raises up some prophets and seers who see through this smog then fundamental Baptists face deterioration! JUST A THOUGHT!

MONDAY NIGHT SERVICE IN LOS ANGELES

Micaiah Schenker

Tonight I preached with Dr. Darrell Cox pastor of the TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH of Mocksville, NC. This was the opening night of the ANNUAL SOUL WINNING CONFERENCE for Dr. Ray Rameriz who pastors the HILLSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH of Los Angeles, CA. The building was jammed packed. Chairs were added and the balcony was packed as well. This dear church baptized 2,500 converts last year and is one of the leading soul winning independent Baptist churches in America.

Dr. Cox preached on "NO REGRETS." What a great truth! He certainly out did himself tonight with his preaching. Dr. Cox and I enjoy being with each other. I preached my sermon "THERE IS YET ONE." I used I Kings 22:1-8 and the story concerning Ahab and Jehoshaphat. The text verse was verse 8! Micaiah was the main Bible character and after the service a little 8 year old boy shook my hand and said, "Hello my name is Micaiah!" Amazing!

There were 400 prophets who all agreed on this unholy alliance yet when asked if there was any other prophet they could hear from, Jehoshaphat reluctantly said, yes there is. "There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may inquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me..." Thank God there was yet one man who stood alone against the majority of the clergy!

Micaiah had not been regimented, standardized, collectivized, or prioritized. He had no axe to grind. He was not riding the bandwagon. He was not on his way up. The grass did not look greener in the next pasture and he craved no man's position. He was not a link in anybody's chain! He was not any ones' lapdog. He broke the monotony when he said in I Kings 22:14, "As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak."

He was put on a diet of bread and water, but better a prophet on bread and water than a politician at the feasts of Ahab. This was a day of unification, with Ahab and Jehosaphat uniting. It was a day of unanimity with 400 prophets in unison. It was a day of uniformity. The messenger advised Micaiah that the clergy had agreed and that he should go along with them!

We live in the same kind of a day of unification. It is a time of unanimity! This is a time of "yes men" and "rubber stamps." We are like eggs in a crate. We are gradually being homogenized into one faceless monolithic mass! It is the day of the lowest common denominator. A day of the happy medium and the middle of the road. This is a Rodney King theology at work! A pleasant "get-alongism" and a "togetherness" has so paralyzed us into spiritual inertia that it is almost impossible to arouse us from an amiable stupor! The steamroller is flattening all the mountains into one level plain. These times and such times as these do not breed prophets but puppets! Men who truly speak for God never merge into the fog around them. Noah stood alone! Elijah stood alone! Amos stood alone! When a man of God speaks a pleasing message hoping for a return engagement he has forfeited his right to represent God! Jeremiah stood alone! Daniel stood alone! Paul stood alone!

True prophets are solitary people. Eagles do not fly in flocks! It is not easy being a lone dissenter. When the messenger was sent to Micaiah he must have said in effect, "The clergy have agreed and you had better make it unanimous. This is a good gravy train and you had better ride it." The same subtle pressure exists in 2011 for preachers to get in step with the times and ride the wave of the future.

What fundamentalism needs in 2011 is more preachers out of step with the current wind, current times and become like Micaiah. We are told to adjust! Adjust to what? A Bible that is not inspired? A Saviour's blood that dissipated at the foot of Calvary? God's man need only adjust to the inspired Word of God and God's will. It is not the business of a prophet to harmonize with the times and the majority. The prophet is a soloist! He was never meant to play the accompaniment to anything and anyone. The pulpit is not a platform to boost the projects of man.

                                                   WAYS USED TO SILENCE PROPHETS

1)  PERSECUTION
2)  PROMOTION
3)  PRESSURE
4) ANOTHER PROPHET

When the prophet at Bethel backslid in his own revival.  He who could turn down a king was deceived by another prophet! JUST A THOUGHT!

FLYING TO CALIFORNIA TO PREACH

I will be flying to Los Angeles, CA., this morning to preach for two days for my good friend Dr. Ray Rameriz. This is one of the most exciting soul winning churches in the nation. I remember in the early 80's when he came to Tyler, Texas, to attend a SWORD OF THE LORD CONFERENCE. Dr. Jack Hyles, Dr. Curtis Hutson and myself preached that conference and Dr. Rameriz became bit on this matter of aggressive soul winning. This is interesting because he is a graduate of John McArthur's school in California. How about that? He changed the name of his church to HILLSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH and has been one of the top soul winning churches in America.

I have had a great month of soul winning in January with 32 trusting Christ and 10 following the LORD in baptism. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

GREAT DAY WITH PASTOR JACKSON

Pastor and Mrs. David Jackson

Missionary Carl Johnson Family

What a surprise today when I asked Mrs. Gray if she felt up to going with me to Leesburg, Texas, to preach for our friend Pastor David Jackson she said to me she felt half way decent. So, we took some extra time helping her to ready herself and off we went to preach. The last time she was in church was on March 1, 2009. This was a blessing to say the least. She told me that if I did a good job today she might come back to hear me preach again! PRESSURE! Ha!

When we arrived we met a missionary couple who were presenting their work to the dear people of LEESBURG BAPTIST CHURCH. Missionary Carl Johnson with his wife Cindy, sons Andrew, Luke, and daughter Carol Ann. They are on their way to minister to the deaf of Brazil.

What a surprise to find out that Mrs. Johnson is the daughter of Tom Wing an Assistant Pastor for our friend Dr. Richard Wallace of Lewisville, Texas. The great thing about this is the fact that Mrs. Gray took Tom and his younger brother Jim to school with our children to the Hammond Baptist Schools every morning. Now to see this young lady being a help meet to her dear husband thrilled both of us. God bless these missionaries! They are all heroes to Mrs. Gray and myself! GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!

If you would like to contact this couple about presenting their work or supporting them I will give you the info. E-mail johnsonsinbrazil@yahoo.com.br. Online phone 972-957-8140. Skype: johnsonsinbrazil. Sending church is TEMPLE BAPTIST CHURCH at 2501 Northshore Blvd. Flower Mound, Texas, 75028. Church phone 972-874-8700. Please pray about supporting these dear saints! GOTTA LOVE MISSIONARIES!

PREACHING IN LEESBURG, TEXAS

I will be driving today to preach for my friend Pastor David Jackson who pastors the LEESBURG BAPTIST CHURCH of Leesburg, Texas. He served as a deacon with me for many years and God has called him to pastor. He has been their pastor for one year. I am always thrilled to preach for one of our own and this is no exception.

Mrs. Gray has an appointment with an internist on March the 4th to run tests. The counts are off on her pancreas and liver. The doctor in the ER asked her if she drank. She said, "No, but I'm thinking about it!" Obviously the 26 surgeries and the medications have taken a toll! We will meet with him on March 9 to find out the results. She sat on the back porch yesterday for the first time in a long time. I put her rocking chair out on the back porch this morning so she can sit there for a little while. She is a great lady! GOTTA LOVE FAMILY!

WHY NOW?

This is an email I received this week! Why now was the first thought which entered my mind!

"Hello Bro. Gray,

I am a Hyles Anderson College graduate.
I am unsure if there is any conflict between Common Wealth, First Baptist Church of Hammond and Bro. Schaap. If there is any conflict between Fundamental Brethren would you please remove me from your mailing list.
We are a Soul winning separated work for God.
My spirit and the spirit of our church is my number one priority.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.
I look forward to rejoicing over souls and victory in our lives when
                                                 we meet,
                                                 God bless
                                                 Pastor........"

My second thought was I wonder if he sent this to Brother Schaap after his attack on Dr. Russell Anderson when he called him "...an ignorant hillbilly..." I wonder if he sent this to Brother Schaap after his insulting and attacking remarks toward all fundamental brethren who were verbally assaulted because they believed in the preserved inspiration of the KING JAMES BIBLE. There exists numerous video and audio exhibits of these condescending arrogant remarks toward those faithful men who have stood for the preserved inspiration of the KING JAMES BIBLE.

My third thought is why did he email me and not direct his comments to Dr. Jeff Fugate.

My fourth thought was "conflict between Fundamental Brethren..." You must be kidding? Has he forgotten about the conflict between Paul and Barnabas? Has he forgotten about the conflict between Paul and Peter? Has he forgotten about the conflict between John and Diotrephes? Has he forgotten about the conflict between Dr. Bob Jones Jr. and Dr. John R. Rice? Has he forgotten about the conflict between Dr. J. Frank Norris and Dr. G. B. Vick? Come on! Get a life! Get real!

My fifth thought was we once again have fallen for this "mega-church" "mecca church"mindset! God busted up the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF JERUSALEM with its 100,000 members because their purpose was to reach the world with the Gospel not to built the biggest church in the world. 95% of the churches in America are rural not metro! Our ministries must not revolve around Hammond, Indiana, or for that matter Longview, Texas.

My sixth thought was "WOW" what a great thing God has done in founding the independent church. What a great way of having checks and balances in the work of God! We must allow the preachers to disagree! There is a reason why there was a Jerusalem Council: it was so the men of God could straighten out those headed for heresy! God intended for there to be UNITY in the local church and not UNION of local churches! There is no such thing as a universal body of believers. The only "body" that exists is a local body! We are not the "bride" of Christ because there must be a marriage first before there can be a "bride." We are "espoused." When some preacher talks about the "bride of Christ" as universal... RUN! He is a Evangelical in disguise! Men of God are going to disagree! This Rodney King theology of "Why can't the brethren get along?" Simple, they are brothers! Ha! We as independent Baptists have no pope and no Vatican!

It is amazing to me when a Dr. John McArthur says and puts into  print in his commentary on the book of Hebrews that the blood of Christ dissipated at the foot of Calvary! He in essence said we are saved by His death and not His blood! This caused all of fundamentalism to go into an uproar. Yet, when someone says the inspiration does not exist in the KING JAMES BIBLE we are to silently go on about our business. WHY? Because he is one of our own? Non-sense! This will never go away until Dr. Schaap rectifies this heresy to the extend of its damage via print. Someone said he apologized at Pastors' School! Yes, for the trouble and damage it caused, but NEVER for his position concerning the KING JAMES BIBLE'S lack of inspiration!

We who stand on this issue of preserved inspiration of the KING JAMES BIBLE are not attacking we are proclaiming! The attack came from the pulpit of the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH of Hammond, Indiana in 2009. A shot that is still reverberating around the fundamental world.

I am just glad that it was not the pulpit Dr. Jack Hyles used. The new pulpit has been broken in to an old liberal position on the HOLY SCRIPTURES but thank the LORD our beloved Dr. Hyles' last words spoken in a Wednesday night Bible study made his position extremely clear on the preserved inspiration of the KING JAMES BIBLE! By the way, he said any one who would dare say differently should be fired! Dr. Jack Hyles grew! Some grow and some regress! Welcome to the new age movement in fundamentalism! GOTTA LOVE THE OLD KING JAMES BIBLE!

I am preaching for my good friend Pastor Chad owens who pastors the UNITY BAPTIST CHURCH of Corsicana, Texas. I taught my Sunday school lesson "WHO DO I LISTEN TOO?" and preached my sermon "YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN" and God gave us 7 saved, 3 professions, 2 joined, and 2 baptized. GOTTA LOVE SOUL WINNING!

When I arrived for Sunday school I spotted Wyatt Tisdale who use to be a member of LONGVIEW BAPTIST TEMPLE along with his family. He was such a blessing to me and my wife. I was thrilled to see him and to meet his son who was visiting from Austin, Texas.  Wyatt had 4 visitors for Sunday school today.

I will be preaching at the 6 pm service tonight and I am antcipating God meeting with us once again. I always enjoy being here with these dear folks at UNITY BAPTIST CHURCH! GOTTA LOVE GOD'S PEOPLE!

PREACHING IN CORSICANA, TEXAS

I will be driving to Corsicana, Texas, in a little while to preach for my good friend Pastor Chad Owens on Sunday. I am looking forward to being with him and his dear people.

This past week was an exciting and challenging week to say the least. Mrs. Gray was taken to the hospital twice this week and is home today and doing much better.  Her birthday day was 2-11 and we had a nice day together. Many phone calls and text messages along with some food made her day! It has been a rough week for her. I am able to spend a little extra time before leaving today!

In addition TEXAS BAPTIST COLLEGE hosted her first PASTOR'S CLINIC with 7 pastors in attendance. We will be hosting 3 a year! The next one will be conducted during the week of the NATIONAL TEEN CONVENTION with another being hosted in September. The snow kept some who had registered from being able to be with us. There will be 25 spots held open for the next two. Pastors can only register and attend one CLINIC per year! I will be teaching all sessions!

Dr. Bob Gray II and his staff did an excellent job of caring for the pastors. Mrs. Diana Ayres prepared three meals per day for the delegates. She did a superb  job. The meals were perfect.

My four new books were available to the pastors. Please take time to visit and purchase them off of SMASHWORDS.COM, SOLVECHURCHPROBLEMS.COM, or go to AMAZON.COM and simply enter Bob Gray Sr. and you will find all of my books.  THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION, SUFFERING?, SUFFERING FRUITFULLY, and JUST A THOUGHT! (Volume IV) are the four new books! GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!

STRANDED IN OMAHA, NE.

American Airlines Executive Platinum Desk called me last night and told me that my Tuesday 8 am flight to DFW had been cancelled. They placed me on a 6 am American flight! The snow was just starting to come down during the day yesterday preceded by some ice. It become a heavier snow fall  as the day progressed and by the time we were out of church last night it was at times blinding snow. I made it back to the motel and set my alarm to roll out of bed at 3:30 am.

I awoke a little earlier and prepared to get to the airport early. I arrived at 5 and turned my rental car into Hertz. I waited for them to start boarding and then settled in for the flight to DFW. We pulled away from the gate and sat there for about an hour. Then the announcement came that DFW was shut down because of the weather. We pulled back to the gate and I called Executive Platinum Desk and they rebooked me on a 6 pm flight, still today however. Then they called and told me that it had been cancelled. They then rebooked me to fly out on Wednesday morning. (Hopefully)

God bless Associate Pastor Bob Queen. I was texting him and attempting to keep him updated because he is so kind to take me to and from the airport each week of the world. The Longview, Tyler, and Shreveport flights were all cancelled so he was up at 4 am to take the trip to DFW to pick me up and by the time I found out my flight was cancelled he was already in Mesquite, Texas. He arrived in time to find himself in the middle of the ice storm in the Dallas area. We then both realized it was not going to happen today so he turned the car around to drive back to Longview. God bless that dear man! Oh, I already said that didn't I?

I found a motel and took the last room they had at the Holiday Inn express so I will be spending the night in Omaha. I will be up at 3:30 am again and maybe we can get this thing done tomorrow.

The service last night at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH of Plattsmouth, NE., was tremendous in spite of the severe weather. I meet with the pastor and his staff from 3 to 5 yesterday. We had a wonderful brain storming time together. They asked some great questions and of course I gave them some great answers! Ha!

Scott preached first both nights and I cannot put into words about how proud of Scott I am. He has become a great man of God in his own right! Bob and Scott are men of God! Their mother and I are very proud of them both!

You must visit this great church! Dr. Raymond Wicks is doing an unusual work in the middle of no where it seems! He has a great staff and great people. The people are very responsive to old fashioned preaching and sensitive to the Holy Spirit! This is an old fashioned Baptist church! GOTTA LOVE SERVING THE LORD!
